For the trap door issue could you not just have the flow of water not needing trap doors as suggested, but then armour stand the trap doors so items could be thrown through it. Like you did with the island table? There would be no reason for concern then.

It was a nice touch that Swagger Stagger started playing right when Tango was showing off what he'd built for his video. As if the music playlist was joining him in encouraging the audience to watch said video.

I think the broom is fine- you could have a crafter in the “broom closet” so that if the rats happen to steal your broom (which is a hilarious concept) you can maybe spend 30s to get a new one

Hey Tango- if you do ever want something under the floor like a dropper or something, obviously the rats can’t collect right there. You can maybe cover the floor there in ice and carpet/slabs so that it’s still very hard for hermits to have a safe spot on the floor, since the items slide somewhere that the rats can reach

Hermits interacting is far more entertaining than redstone/building, especially for the RUclips viewers. I miss the Horns, nobody (I watch) uses them anymore

The answer to the issue of people seeking out ways to cheat is simple... "You have had the game mechanics explained to you. As per standard game TOS found throughout the industry in multiplayer games, anyone caught cheating or exploiting a flaw/bug in the game mechanics will be disqualified from any competition. If you choose to cheat, you are only spoiling it for yourself and your friends. Etho, Cub, just pretend you are a NORMAL gamer, and not Etho and Cub. Oh and Pearl, you have proven yourself a sufficiently skilled gamer to be dangerously close to being ranked with the likes of Etho and Cub as players who just seem to see the mechanics of a game and how to exploit them by playing just a couple times, so maybe you should pretend to be a normal player too" :)

Milwaukee has become one of the biggest names in cordless power tools over the last decade or so... Personally I bought into the DeWalt ecosystem a couple decades ago when my makita finally died after nearly 2 decades of service. when my 12v Dewalt batteries died, I was looking at changing over to Milwaukee but my dad bought me a 20v DeWalt drill and a 20v to 12v adapter (note it is not a transformer, it feeds 20v to my 12v tools, but since they are not digital they are able to handle it), so I decided to stay in the DeWalt ecosystem... once you start buying in, there is no point in getting multiple brands as there is no standardization of batteries.

I LOVE getting to see you just hang out with the hermits ;; this was very cool and really relaxing for me too. also that shade of blue?? looks stunning on you, fantastic color. even if you dont keep the shirt, I hope it made you feel cool
